Roasted Hojicha
Waiting Beneath the Night Sky
Signature Matcha & Tea Collection
A deeply comforting roasted hojicha inspired by the quiet stillness of moonlit evenings in Japan.
Awaiting the Moon was created around a simple atmosphere — warm tea held gently in the hands while clouds drift slowly across the night sky.
The blend is built upon carefully roasted Japanese tea leaves, producing a rich aroma with soft smokiness, gentle sweetness, and a calm, lingering warmth.
Unlike brighter green teas that awaken the senses, this tea moves in the opposite direction.
It softens the edges of the day.
The roasted character unfolds slowly: toasted grain, faint woodiness, and subtle caramel-like depth, followed by a remarkably smooth finish with almost no bitterness.
There is a quiet solitude within the aroma — reminiscent of distant mountains, fading evening light, and silence carried through cool night air.
A tea for reflection, reading, conversation, or simply sitting quietly as time passes.
