The Boutique
Located just minutes from Tokyo Station and within walking distance of the Ginza district, Ginza Fuka is a boutique housed within a beautifully restored historic building in Tsukiji, Tokyo.
Inspired by the philosophy of In Praise of Shadows, the space carries an atmosphere of quiet elegance and stillness. The boutique was created through a bold reinterpretation of a three-story structure more than seventy years old. While preserving the beauty of the original wooden framework, the interior was transformed with a dramatic open atrium that reveals the historic ceiling above — evoking the nostalgic scenery of traditional tea factories once found in the mountains of Warashina.
On the first floor, guests may explore tea tastings and tea sold by weight at the main counter. Shelves crafted from traditional Japanese woods display bonsai alongside Ginza Fuka’s signature teas. The walls feature not only Japanese artworks, including pieces inspired by Ogata Kōrin, but also photographs, documents, and materials celebrating the world of matcha and Japanese tea.
The second floor houses a gallery dedicated to carefully selected Japanese antiques and vintage objects collected from across Japan by Ginza Fuka. Here, guests may encounter one-of-a-kind museum pieces — objects to admire, experience, and ultimately bring home as part of their memories of Japan.

The Experience
A visit to Ginza Fuka is an invitation into a journey of flavor and aroma through the world of matcha and Japanese tea.
Guests may experience tastings of the finest matcha, authentic Japanese teas including our signature Reverie of Warashina, as well as seasonal recommendations prepared in various forms. Visitors are also invited to explore and select beautifully crafted Japanese washi tea canisters.
Through the Masterpiece Program, guests may create entirely original flavor teas by blending Japanese teas with an extensive selection of botanicals, herbs, flowers, and fruits curated by Ginza Fuka. Within The Vault — a locked wooden cabinet — rare ingredients are carefully preserved and occasionally offered as limited seasonal selections.
Further within the sanctuary, guests may enjoy seasonal tasting courses or experience traditional tea ceremony practices. During select seasons, visitors may also discover Ginza Fuka’s celebrated matcha and Japanese tea kakigōri, creations that have become renowned throughout Japan.
